Strawberry Moon Tee

"The June Full Moon is set behind the magnificent eastern span of the Oakland Bay Bridge. Based on some research, I determined the moon would begin to drop behind the bridge from this viewpoint at around 4:30 am.

When the full moon is setting, it is less bright, making it much more possible to capture the bridge's lights in one take. I arrived plenty early and captured a few images. This one was my favorite."

Based in Oakland, California, Vincent James has extensive knowledge of not only the many locations for iconic landscape images throughout the Oakland and San Francisco Bay Area but also of the weather patterns and the seasonal light at those sites.
