Local Love - TYMTV

We are thrilled to announce our limited-edition t-shirt collaboration with Chaz Bear of Toro y Moi and Company Studio. This collaboration pays homage to Chaz's deep appreciation for the East Bay and the local love that thrives within our community and among artists alike. Reflecting on the inspiration behind the design, Chaz shared:

The idea behind trying to make a location-based shirt, I think, can always go back to the "I Love New York" shirt by Milton Glaser. The fact that he made that for the love of the city is really important. He didn't even really want to put his name on it. That's what the East Bay shirt is for me: just a nice homage to the city and to the area, the East Bay. And also, something that graphic designers, I think, would appreciate. There's a little bit of a pun graphically there.

The Bay Area has strong roots in activism, art, and streetwear, and it is home to some of the highest quality manufactured goods, from deliciously roasted coffee beans to screen-printed t-shirts that tell stories and showcase local artist. Chaz visited our production facility in Oakland, California, where we offer custom screen printing, embroidery, merchandise production, sourcing, and boutique 3PL services for various brands, nonprofits, sports teams, and businesses throughout the East Bay and beyond. Chaz shares the same enthusiasm about local love as we do, stating:

I think it's really cool to work with people who are proud to represent the Bay Area and Oakland. It's a really unique place. And what I want to show my fans is that building community locally is important, no matter the size of your operation.
