The Bridge is Steel Here
Today the Oakland Museum of California launched its Bay Bridge Steel program, in which they’re looking for architects, designers and creative types to apply for ways to constructively reuse a portion of the metal from the old Eastern span of the Bay Bridge.

Applications are open now and deadlines are rolling through December of 2016. If you’re looking for more information, the site says that there will be an info session at the Oakland Museum of California (1000 Oak Street, Oakland, CA) on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 5 pm, and another one on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 12 noon.
